Happy 2nd B-Day Maddex!

My Valentines baby turned 2 yesterday! The Mickey Mouse party was a hit! A big thanks to everyone who was there to share his special day. We appreciate your caring & support!

Why we celebrate Valentines Day.

For most, "Valentines Day" is a celebration of one's love for his/her sweet heart, and though we celebrate this too, we also celebrate it for another reason. You've prabably already guessed.(the pictures are obviously a dead give away) Our second son Maddex was born on Valentines Day of 2007. I've never received a better Valentines gift, nor will I ever. Besides, what on earth is more intimate and full of love than bringing a child into the world, that together husband & wife have made? So thankyou Brandon, for my Valentines gift. It's one that will last forever. Andrew thanks you too, for giving him his best friend. He's been the best big brother in the world. So this Valentines, we will be celebrating the love of a family.

PIPE BREAK!

So we had a pipe freeze & break in the night, which I discoverd at about 6 o'clock in the morning. Standing at the top of my stairway, I could hear the sound of gushing water, and at that moment, I new exactly what had happened. My husband, father, & father- in-law all working graveyard shifts were all unavailable & unreachable, so I ended up calling my savior of a brother in law, Kevin to come & help me. (bless his heart).
Note to women : Know where & how to turn your house water off. It may be very helpful in times of need.
So now I get to do what I've been wanting to do for some time now: remodel my downstairs!(and we only had to pay a $500 deductable)
Bye-bye ugly wall paper & hidious forest green carpet, hello freshly painted walls & the glorious aroma of new carpet.

Fun In The Snow!

on New Years Day. They had a blast, but Maddex was so ready

to go back in the house after about 15 minutes.(as you can tell)

So I tried to get my boys to pose for a greeting card. One of these three will have to do. They refuse to sit still for a picture for more that ten seconds. Boys....what can you do?

Andy Turned 3!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Andy. I can't believe how the time has flown! Andy insisted that he have a "Handy Manny" Birthday party.(In case any of you don't know what that is, It's a children's cartoon on Disney channel) Well we couldn't find any Handy Manny decor whatsoever, so my mom bought a coloring book of the cartoon and colored and cut out all the characters. (Thanks mom)A big thanks to everyone for the presents. (He was spoiled!!)

Thanksgiving

How thankful I am for my family! Thankyou Brandon for being a wonderful Husband and father. I couldn't ask for more. Thankyou Andy & Maddex, for bringing joy to every day, and for making our lives complete.

I'm so thankful for our Lord and Savior. For the life he led, and for what he has done to make it possible for me to be with my family forever. Thankyou to all of my friends and family for the happiness you bring to us. We are truely blessed to have you in our lives! May everyone feel joy this holiday season!!!
